We often get asked, “How often should you get laser hair removal?” Typically, laser hair removal sessions are performed every 4-6 weeks. Hair growth goes through 3 stages:
- The Anagen phase – This period of growth involved the hair bulb which divides rapidly, creating new hair growth. Hair actively grows from the roots for at least 2 – 7 years before hair follicles become dormant.
- The Catagen phase – The 2nd phase of your hair growth cycle is Catagen. This is only a short period typically lasting 2-3 weeks on average. During this transitional phase, hair stops growing and detaches itself from the blood supply.
- The Telogen phase – The final stage enters its third and final stage, this begins with a resting period where the club hairs will rest within the root and new hair grows underneath it.
Single appointments can be booked, although we always recommend between 6 to 8 treatments for the best results.
