Like any procedure, laser hair removal can come with some mild side effects. These side effects are usually temporary and do not cause long-term damage.
They can include:
Skin irritation – This tends to happen shortly after the procedure has been done. Any signs or symptoms of this will disappear within several hours and are nothing to be concerned about.
Changes to pigmentation – After laser hair removal, very minor changes may darken/lighten the skin. This is also temporary, and the chances are very slim for the side effect to occur.

Generally speaking, there should be NO need for any downtime after laser hair treatment.
You should avoid the following such as:
- Perfumed products
- Intense heat
- Tight clothing
For at least 48 hours after treatment.
